Welcome to Muna. By accessing or using our website or app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use our services. These terms govern your use of our services, accounts, and all related content.

User Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use the app. By using our services, you represent that you meet age requirements and can legally enter into these terms.

Accounts and Security

Users may need an account to access certain app features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or breach. We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized account access.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the app or interfere with operations
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Upload harmful or unlawful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Rely on the AI Journal feature as a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, or psychological care, or use it as a primary channel for reporting a medical or mental health emergency

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

Intellectual Property

All content, software, and trademarks on Muna are owned by us or our licensors. Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify our content without explicit permission. Any feedback or suggestions provided by users may be used by Muna without compensation.

AI Journal Feature

Muna offers an optional AI Journal feature that uses a third-party AI model (Claude, by Anthropic, accessed through our hosting provider Base44) to help you log symptoms and receive personalized, non-diagnostic suggestions based on published research. The AI Journal does not diagnose medical conditions. It may suggest you speak with a healthcare provider based on patterns in your logged data, but it will never tell you that you have a specific condition.

AI-generated responses are provided for informational purposes only. Muna does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or medical appropriateness of any AI-generated content, and is not responsible for actions taken based on it. You may use manual logging instead of the AI Journal at any time.

Emergency Disclaimer

Muna is not an emergency service, and the AI Journal is not monitored by a licensed clinician in real time. If you are in crisis or having thoughts of self-harm, call 911 or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) immediately. Do not use the app as a substitute for emergency care.

Limitation of Liability

Muna provides health tracking and cycle-aware planning services for informational purposes only, including recommendations, pattern detection, and any other content generated by the AI Journal feature. We are not responsible for medical outcomes or decisions made using the app. We do not guarantee accuracy, reliability, or completeness of app predictions. In no event shall Muna or its affiliates be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Muna, its affiliates, and personnel from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app, violation of these Terms, or user-generated content.

Third-Party Services

Muna may use third-party vendors for analytics, cloud storage, and email, including Base44 (hosting and AI integration layer) and Anthropic (the AI model used by the AI Journal feature, accessed through Base44). We are not responsible for third-party service actions or data breaches outside our control.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or small claims court where applicable. Users agree to waive class-action claims.

Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will take effect upon posting. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
